Abstract

The global order is constituted by knowledge that is legitimized as truth and that coexists in dispute with knowledge that is commonly situated as peripheral, superficial, inferior. In this evident process of coloniality of knowledge, hierarchies are established between European and non-European perspectives, with the former located as a reference for knowledge and the latter circumscribed as folklore. Therefore, the debate proposed in this article analyzes, in a partial and localized way, knowledge that is articulated in collusion with colonial (purist) rationalities and, above all, knowledge that is produced in coalition with mestiza perspectives. Finally, it states ways to occupy these guerrillas from subaltern knowledge, from peripheral outlines and from a consciousness that Gloria Anzaldúa names as mestiza.
