Abstract

Sexual violence against children consists of any act or manipulation performed by an aggressor who’s in a psychosexual stage more advanced than the child. The present work refers to the experience report of an academic, in the Specific Supervised Internship II (ESE II), of the Psychology Course at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), carried out in a Program for Assistance to Victims of Sexual Violence (PAVVS ) at the Júlio Muller University Hospital (HUJM) and referring to the psychological care of an 11 year old female child. The psychoanalytical approach was used as a theoretical framework. The case to be presented in this work presents the experience of a child who suffered incestuous sexual violence, and shows the commitment in the child's relationship with his maternal figure, since the mother didn’t believe in the daughter's report. Therefore, it’s considered the importance of a healthy family dynamic, which’s healthy for the reception of a child victim of sexual abuse
