The present study aims to present an account of volunteering experience in a Judicial Center of conciliation (CEJUSC) in the Judiciary Section of the Federal District, where there are still no spaces for professional practice for other competences besides the law. Firstly, we describe the procedures for registering and participating in the training course for conciliators and then we report the experiences acquired over the course of a year, so suggestions are made so that the work developed by the conciliation centers can be made more effective and as a consequence benefit citizens who seek this service. With the experience acquired, we concluded that it is necessary to include psychologists both in the formation of new conciliators and in serving the population and in helping the civil servants in the agency.
