Abstract
The author proposes to understand the melancholic manifestations in terms of a dysfunction in the evocative drive circuit that does not allow the subject to "be heard". The hypothesis is that the invocation's dynamics, at the very origin of the birth of psychic subject, would have been invalidated, leaving the subject invaded by a shout that could not be assumed by the auxiliary Other.
